Once described as “the most perfect small Georgian town in Worcestershire”, situated on the banks of the River Severn and on the edge of the Wyre Forest, Bewdley offers much to delight it's residents and visitors.
The Town has a lovely range of shops providing essential needs, from groceries and hardware to florists and chemists. The Town also benefits from some wonderful independent shops selling antiques and curios with arts and craft galleries and traditional sweet shops that you will not be able to resist. A good choice of pubs, cafes and restaurants are also to be found around the riverside and Town Centre.
Heritage and history is very much at the heart of Bewdley. The 18th Century church of St Anne dominates the main street and you can take a walk through The old Butchers Shambles which now houses the town’s local museum, Tourist Information Centre and gardens.
